I think Tim is going to HBP with me and Misty after all. He keeps acting like he wants to go, but is afraid to "cramp our style." This is ridic, because we're going to Harry Potter ffs, it's going to be filled with kids and geeks (like us...)
I'm going to talk him into getting us nachos. I love movie nachos.
The movie doesn't start until 4:45, but we're leaving early so we can get semi good seats.

Me and Misty going over to my aunt's house, where she has HBO, and she's also making us stuffed shells for dinner because she's awesome like that, and then IT'S TRUE BLOOD TIME!!!

Watched a show about Christian, the London born lion, this morning on animal planet because it was five in the morning and everyone was asleep and there was nothing else on.
I'm sort of ashamed to admit that I teared up a little bit at the end. Because me+bittersweet stories of fluffy animals=tears. Especially things involving lions. I was traumatized by the Lion King when I was little.

Gathering at my aunt Amy's tonight to celebrate her and my grandpa's birthdays, which were this week. I'm not sure what time, but I'm sure I left myself plenty of time to get some rest before we leave. I didn't get much sleep at Toni's place on account of the snoring boys, who I was about to smother with a throw pillow.


So...sleep now. Or attempted sleep now.

Hello my loves. Yes, I'm still alive....


Just looking through my calender for this month, and was wondering: Camera Obscura or Au Revoir Simone? Or both? I've never seen either, but like both, and they're at the Southgate House this month, Camera Obscura on Thursday the 28th, and Au Revoir Simone on Sunday the 31st. So I've got some time to think about it. I just wanted some other people's opinions, if you're just a big fan, or you've seen them live a loved them. I think I've got enough money to do both, but I'm not sure.

Lucero and Titus Andronicus at the Southgate House tonight. Photography job. Will not fuck this one up again. I just hope my camera is up for it. It's, for lack of a better word, scared of the dark. It just takes really bad pictures in low light.

Also have it from a employee friend that tonight is going to be a drunken bloody mess, and to watch my back. When I asked how bad, he kind of waffled before telling me "police in riot gear" bad. So...I'm a little worried to tell the truth. I can handle myself, and I usually know how to deal with drunks, but still. I've never seen things get bad at Southgate, so I don't really know what to expect. I kind of wish I had someone going with me now. And I'm not sure what to wear. Normally when I'm going out to do a job, I dress nicely, like I was going out for drinks. But if it's going to be a rough, drunken crowd, that kind of changes things. I guess I'll just wear a dress with some leggings under, and some sensible flats.

So wish me luck and hope I don't die. I wish I could find my other camera just in case, but I have no idea where I put it.
